Hikes & Walks

The Aude offers more than 4000 km of hiking trails. You can walk at the seaside, in the Corbières vineyards, around lakes, in the Cathares country side. Pick your level and enjoy your next hiking trip. 
 

Some of our favorite walks :

La balade des pontons Peyriac de Mer
Peyriac de Mer is located between Narbonne et Sigean. The hike starts in the charming village and goes around the Doul pond . It is an easy walk of about 2 hours with lovely views, taking you back into the village where you can enjoy a drink at the bar O Vieux Tonneaux. 


La Chapelle de Saint Simeon Boutenac
Walk of approx 7 km starting in the village of Boutenac. The start of the walk is a bit steep and going down to the chapel can be slipery according to the weather. Overall a very nice hike with great views on the Corbières and the chapel of Saint Simeon build in 1895.  Take into account between 1,5 to 2 hours for this walk. En savoir plus


Le sentier sculpturel Mayronnes
Looking for a walk that combines art and nature ? This walk in the Corbières goes around art sculptures spread over approx. 5 km. Great views, pretty paths in the middle of nature. En savoir plus

 

Le Sentier du Facteur - Talairan
Postman's trail in the village of Talairan. History of the postman's daily tour to deliver mail on a total of 17km, it is possible to take a shorter version of approx. 7km. During the walk you will be able to read more details on the information signs explaining the postman's walk. En savoir plus

 

Le plateau de Leucate
You can start this walk driving up to the Leucate lighthouse on the falaise and park your car on the parking. You can walk all the way to LaFranqui and walk back by the same path, or you can wander around the cliffs and admire the sea panorama. En savoir plus


L’Ile Sainte Lucie.
You can leave your car at the lock house in Port La Nouvelle for a trail on the ile Sainte Lucie. You can pick the short walk or the long one. Dogs are not allowed on this walk. Great views on the Canal de la Robine.
